Six members of Girlguiding Birmingham completed their Gold DofE practice expedition in July. Under cloudless blue skies they walked from Combe Martin in Devon to Minehead in Somerset taking in sections of the South West Coast path as well as the remote ‘Chains’ area of Exmoor. The group were entirely self sufficient – negotating trains and buses to get themselves to the start of the expedition and home at the end. They were excellent ambassadors for D of E and Girlguiding and we are incredibly proud of all that they acheived.
Well done girls! And huge thanks to all the D of E team who have supported them and made the expedition possible.
