Mrs Jean Massey, a member of Hall Green Guild recently celebrated her 100th birthday with friends from the Guild. Jean was a Guide Guider in Hall Green for many years and later became a member of the Trefoil Guild.
Birmingham County Trefoil Guild held its annual meeting earlier this year at Tally Ho Police Social Club and we were joined by Jo Dowling, Midlands Region Chairman. After the business section in the morning this was followed by an excellent three course lunch. In the afternoon we were entertained by “The Bloxham Triplets”; Mary, Margaret and Georgina, all past members of Birmingham guiding and now members of the Trefoil Guild. They told us of a whole variety of happenings and showed us many items from their childhood in Hall Green where they were and still are, very well known.
