The Leaders Section is for women aged 18 to 65.
Welcome to our fantastic new website! We hope you enjoy seeing what we get up to at Girlguiding Birmingham!
We really want Commissioners, Leaders and volunteers to let us know what’s going on in your area. Keep in touch on Facebook and Twitter as well! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our brilliant Leaders and volunteers for everything you do for our girls. You are amazing! We are the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK and in Birmingham, we have nearly 1,200 Leaders and volunteers who support around 4,000 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section girls across the city, offering them a wide variety of wonderful experiences and opportunites.
If you are visiting the website and would like to get involved, please contact us, as we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, ages, cultures, faiths, and abilities. We are flexible and volunteering can be arranged around your personal lifestyle. You can help by sharing your skills and talents; if you are a good communicator; if you enjoy working as part of a team; if you enjoy trying new activities and most importantly, you enjoy having fun! If you can spare a couple of hours every month or can make a regular weekly commitment, come and join us; we would love to hear from you!
With very best wishes
Maggie Jones County Commissioner, Girlguiding Birmingham
