There’s still time to sign up for your D of E Gold Award

What is the Duke of Edinburgh Award?
After a couple of years off due to COVID, we are planning to run a Gold Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programme in 2022. Anyone who is a member of Girlguiding and aged between 16 and 24 can register to join us.

At Gold level, there are five different sections to be completed. You will complete four of these (volunteering, skills, physical and residential) independently however the expedition section is undertaken as part of a Girlguiding Birmingham group.

Why Do the Duke of Edinburgh Award?
DofE is a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new things, challenge yourself and develop essential life skills. For more information about the Award, visit
