Four violinists from Girlguiding Birmingham attended the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra (NSGSO) this summer. Up to 8 hours a day was spent rehearsing, and the resulting concerts were fabulous!
It was a packed week as our musicians also had the chance to participate in climbing, archery, kayaking, orienteering

202nd (St Mary Magdalene) Birmingham Brownies took part in Parliament week and had a visit from Steve McCabe, MP for Birmingham Selly Oak. The girls were really enthusiastic and interested in his work, asking lots of excellent questions. Well done girls - we hope to see some of you in
Girlguiding Birmingham’s support for Macmillan continued this month with 122nd Birmingham Guides and Weoley Rangers completing their ‘Dance for Macmillan Badge.
Their beach theme evening was a fantastic event and raised the massive sum of £100 for Macmillan.
