On Friday 4th March to celebrate Mothering Sunday weekend the 296 Birmingham (St.Michael’s) Brownies invited our mums to come and share in the Brownie fun with a pamper night. There was a nail bar offering manicures for both mum and daughter, jewellery making, a fruit bar, the Brownie cafe with lots of cake… And the very popular relaxation room with serene music, where handmade face packs could be made and brownies giving mums massages. We all had a fun, relaxing evening and we enjoyed spending time with our mums, plus they left as honorary Brownies after we taught them how to salute!
Birmingham Senior Section Spectacular launch took place at Trefoil House and around Birmingham City Centre on Wednesday 17th February. The girls were challenged to take selfies in various locations around the city; and they did this with remarkable grace as it was an absolutely dreadful wet day. The winning selfies came from the Kings Norton Division with Claire Storrie heading up the team.
After completing the challenges the Senior Section girls came into Trefoil House for Jelly and cream and lots of cakes! Josephine and Emily launched the Sparkle 100 Challenge and you can find further details of the challenge in our Leaders’ Area.
